Try the workflow below. All transactions and amounts are synthetic; this is not a working tax engine.

Get the answers you need. Keep every conversation connected to the work.
Missing documents and unclear transactions can hold up an entire workpaper. Give clients a clear list of what you need, collect their replies in one place, and see what still needs attention.
Make the next action clear
Request a document, ask a question or assign an intake step. Add instructions so the client knows what to provide.
Ask about the exact transactions
Select one or more transactions and ask for their business purpose, an explanation or supporting evidence. Replies stay linked to those rows.
Follow up without rebuilding the request
Use the rolling Reminder / Client Chaser System for outstanding items. Stop reminders when the item is resolved. Email and SMS availability and extra charges follow the published offer.
Review each answer where it belongs
Check the explanation or document alongside its request. If something is incomplete, ask a focused follow-up on that item.
See what is holding up the work
Track pending, in-progress and completed actions. Clients respond through the Standard client portal; professional branding follows White Label enrollment.
Choose what needs clarification
Two transactions, one linked clarification request.
Send clear instructions
Keep the request moving
The reminder points back to the outstanding request. Reminder scheduling is a rolling tool, subject to availability and published charges.
The client replies in context
Review and resolve
The professional reviews the evidence before changing categories. Resolved items stop prompting reminders.
Design preview: This walkthrough illustrates the intended workflow, not live messaging, uploads or notifications. Collaboration is for Standard clients. White Label enrollment controls professional branding. Reminder and SignSimba tools release after beta clearance; eSignature is not required to clarify a transaction.
How the practice tools work
The following walkthroughs explain the eleven cards on the Founding Offer page. Rolling bonus tools release after beta clearance; these are intended workflows, not a claim that every tool is already operational.
1. POA auto-fill
Reviewed client and representative details.
Confirm scope, periods, signatures and submission requirements.
- Capture client identifying information, relevant tax matters and periods, and representative details once.
- Map that record to supported federal, state, local and motor-carrier forms.
- Review every draft and route it to signing or the authority’s accepted submission channel.
2. Client collaboration
What was the business purpose? Please attach supporting documents.
Explanations and documents stay with the selected rows.
- Attach a document request, question or intake step to the client record.
- Select one or more transactions that need clarification and send the selected rows to the client with a linked question. The client can explain the business purpose, identify personal items or transfers, and attach supporting documents; replies stay linked to the selected transactions.
- Notify the client and let them respond through the Standard client portal; professional branding follows White Label enrollment.
- Track pending, in-progress and completed actions. eSignature follows the rolling SignSimba release.
3. Reminder / Client Chaser System
- Set a reminder schedule, template and stop condition for an outstanding request.
- Send scheduled email or SMS reminders when the service is available.
- Stop when the condition is met or the professional cancels. Extra communication charges apply as published.
4. Win and retain business clients
- Create a public pricing widget or a private proposal for a selected prospect.
- Move acceptance into an engagement agreement and eSignature.
- Follow with onboarding, invoices and billing as the rolling bonus tools clear beta.
5. Optional AI / BYOK
- Choose whether to use AI. Manual and pre-built-library categorization remain available.
- If using BYOK, enter the supported provider key and request categorization suggestions for review.
- The AI provider bills its usage under your own account; separately published CatSimba platform or optional-service charges may apply.
6. Quarterly estimates - Coming Soon
- Use reviewed year-to-date income and expense data as an input to an estimated-tax workflow.
- Have the professional calculate, review and adjust estimates before client notification.
- Track amount, deadline and payment status. Tax payments use the relevant authority’s accepted payment channel. Release follows beta clearance.
7. Bank Connectivity
- Enable the optional per-client connection at launch. Upload-only work remains possible.
- Optional-service charges apply. Exact rates, units and any spending controls are shown after paid login and accepted before activation.
- Import transactions into categorization and review. Coverage and sync behavior depend on the supported provider and institution.
8. White Label
- Enroll annually, including with zero active Standard clients.
- Choose a CatSimba-hosted branded subdomain or your own custom domain.
- Automatically cover all active Standard clients. Essentials clients do not count or gain Standard features through enrollment.
9. W9 - 1099 Chaser / Vendor Compliance
- A vendor opens the registration option on the business client’s website.
- Collect business details, W-9 information and checklist documents for professional review.
- 1099 preparation and e-filing are available at launch under professional review. Filing services have additional charges; no complimentary migration filing credits are offered.
10. Payment orchestration
- Choose an enabled gateway and compatible vault from the supported orchestration setup.
- Use the provider’s secure payment-entry flow and retain a token/reference for permitted future use.
- The gateway processes and settles funds to the merchant account; CatSimba orchestrates the workflow.
11. Client onboarding and checklists
- Choose or build a checklist suited to the client.
- Guide questionnaires, documents and engagement steps in order.
- Track completion and reuse approved intake data across workpapers, POAs and vendor workflows as each tool becomes available.
Spending insights - Standard roadmap
Planned analytics includes spending summaries, monthly trends and deduction-review prompts, based on reviewed records. Advanced budgets, unusual-spending alerts and prior-year comparisons follow later. Data freshness depends on imports or connected feeds; analytics does not guarantee deductions.
